On the afternoon of April 22, the Internship and Overseas Employment Promotion Fair for international students of universities in the Xiasha Higher Education Park was held at ZJSU's Xiasha Campus. Guided by the International Students Administration Branch of the Zhejiang Provincial Association of Higher Education, the Hangzhou Qiantang District Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, and the Hangzhou Qiantang District Bureau of Commerce, the event was co-hosted by Zhejiang Gongshang University, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University, Hangzhou Dianzi University, China Jiliang University, and Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics. Bringing together 66 high-quality companies across industries, the fair drew more than 400 international students from over ten universities in Hangzhou. It not only deepened multi-party collaboration among universities, local government and enterprises, but also built a comprehensive matchmaking platform connecting international students with internships, career development and overseas employment.

At the opening ceremony, Chair Yao Nan extended thanks to the organizers and introduced the branch's efforts to deeply integrate international student education with local industrial development. He expressed the hope that universities would move forward together to further deepen university-enterprise collaborative education, support high-quality employment of international students, and help Zhejiang enterprises expand globally.

Pei Bei, Director of the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation and Dean of the College of International Education of ZJSU, welcomed the leaders, guests, company representatives and international students on behalf of the university. She briefed the audience on ZJSU's characteristics in international student recruitment and cultivation, and on the university's active exploration and practice in integrating industry and education for international students, and shared earnest expectations with the international students.

Director Wang Xinjun introduced the efforts of Qiantang District in leveraging university-local cooperation to serve international youth. An appointment ceremony for enterprise mentors of ZJSU's international student internship and practice bases was held on site, with several corporate mentors officially appointed to provide international students with more professional practical guidance. Following this, the Qiantang District Exit-Entry Administration delivered a policy briefing, offering authoritative explanations on work visas, residence and stay policies, self-employment, and high-end talent recognition, to support international talent in developing their careers in Hangzhou.

Top Companies Gather: Positions Cover Multiple Popular Fields
Aligned with Hangzhou's industrial opportunities in the AI era, this fair gathered more than 66 high-quality companies in fields such as artificial intelligence, cross-border e-commerce, digital marketing, international intelligent logistics, high-end manufacturing, high-end finance, education technology and cross-border services, offering a large number of internship and overseas employment positions. The event also set up policy consultation and resume-review zones, where professional teachers and corporate HR offered one-on-one guidance to help international students polish their resumes and clarify their job-search directions. Through structured matchmaking by nationality, major and career track, on-site resume pre-screening, mock interviews, and the signing of letters of intent, the fair achieved efficient university-enterprise matching.
Students Participate Enthusiastically with Fruitful Outcomes
International students from over ten universities in Hangzhou and dozens of countries attended with bilingual Chinese-English resumes, academic certificates and skill certifications, actively engaging with companies and fully demonstrating their global vision and professional competence. Participating companies highly recognized the international talent platform built by ZJSU, praised the international students' cross-cultural backgrounds and innovative capabilities, and expressed their intention to continue deepening university-enterprise cooperation and to recruit international talent long-term. The fair saw over 300 on-site internship and employment intentions reached, effectively promoting collaborative university-enterprise education and delivering a win-win outcome in helping enterprises “go global” while helping international talent “stay and thrive.”
