On February 4, 2026 (Lichun, the Start of Spring), the 2025 Feel Awards international communication-themed event was successfully held in Hangzhou. Invited by the Hangzhou International Communication Center, representatives of international students from Zhejiang Gongshang University (ZJSU) joined the gathering, exchanging ideas on international communication and mutual learning among civilizations with distinguished guests from around the world, and experiencing first-hand Hangzhou's international appeal and urban vitality.
The event was hosted by Yang Rui, the celebrated former anchor of CCTV International and a guest host of the Hangzhou International Communication Center. With his professional and compelling delivery, Mr. Yang guided the program throughout, bringing the audience an international communication feast that was both intellectually deep and warmly human.
Throughout the event, ZJSU international students were fully involved—from insights on Hangzhou's global city image, to the unveiling of honorees in civilizational dialogue, industry narratives and social innovation, and on to the year-end highlights. In the civilizational dialogue segment, they engaged face-to-face with international guests including the head of delegation of the Uzbekistan national football team and young Sinologists, exchanging views on cross-cultural communication and mutual learning among civilizations; across the thematic sharing and partnership ceremonies, they gained direct insight into Hangzhou's practices and achievements in international communication, industrial development and social innovation. Notably, ZJSU was selected onto the 2025 Civilizational Dialogue Feel Awards list, and Lin Yali, an international student from Russia, took the stage to receive the award on behalf of the university.
The event not only deepened international students' understanding of Hangzhou's international communication practices but also provided them with a high-quality platform for cross-cultural exchange. Going forward, ZJSU will continue to build more bridges for international exchange, helping international students integrate deeply into Chinese culture, serve as friendly ambassadors for exchanges between Chinese and foreign civilizations, and infuse youthful energy into the cause of international communication.
